2008- six Red Stars lead Bowl Game College Bands at The Alamo Bowl, The Car Quest, Motor City, Capital One
2007- America’s Fourth of July Parade and Show- Washington, D. C.
2007- Disney Magic Kingdom Parade- February 17
2004- Germany performing tour- arranged through former red Star Jill Gorrie and Broadway Tour staff
2003- Liberty Bowl Halftime- with Lou Rawls- Memphis, Tennessee; Beale Street Parade
2003- Nokia Sugar Bowl Halftime
2001- Carnival Cruise Lines- performance on “the Destiny”
1999- Carnival Cruise Lines performance Tour- “The Sensation”( ship later used to house workers after Hurricane Katrina)
1994-1999- Performed six shows for President Clinton and/or Vice President Gore
1998- 2006- Magic Kingdom Parade
1996- Shows at Universal and Disney World( our picture is still on the wall of Disney staging area behind
“Pirates of the Caribbean”
1995- St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Dublin, Ireland- The Lord Mayor of Londonderry Northern Ireland came to see the team compete in Limmerick. We brought gifts, pictures and souveniers of Derry and Londonderry, New Hampshire; Lord Mayor did as well
1992-Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade
1991- New York City St Patrick’s Day Parade
1989- Performing Tour #2 –Costa Del Sol Spain
1989- George Walker Bush Inaugural Parade- also a show in New Hampshire
1987 – Performing Tour- Denmark/ Soviet Union- one of first American groups allowed after Glasnost
1985 – first performing tour of Spain
1979-present- National Championships- University of Notre Dame each July
The Red Stars perform in shows and parades all over the East Coast twelve months a year
AWARDS
2007-NBTA National/World College Halftime and Dance Line Champions
2007- Proclamation from The New Hampshire Legislature for Outstanding Achievement in representing New Hampshire
- National Champions fourteen times in twenty six years
- Northeast Regional Champions from 1980 – present- won “Regional Team of the Year” so many times, the trophy was retired to Red Stars in 1992
- New England Team of the Year-2006
- Red Stars have won, literally thousands of awards in thirty years
- Presented Proclamations by Governors Gallen, Gregg, Sununu and Merrill- for Outstanding Achievement and representation of New Hampshire
- Presented Proclamations from Derry Town Council-three times
- NH Brain Injury Award for support of the annual Walk By the Sea- Red Stars have performed prior to the walk and raised money since its inception
- Coach Hutchinson was inducted into the first National Baton Twirling Association Hall of Fame Class in 2003
- Coach Hutchinson was selected “Choreographer of the Year” at Wide World of Sports, Twirl Mania- 2004
